José Gutiérrez
José Gutiérrez is 6 years old.
José was born premature and spent the first two months of his life in the hospital. He was born with Down’s Syndrome, has a congenital heart disease, and a malformation in his knee.
Since he joined The Mercy Center a year ago, José has grown and changed so much. He’s happier, his behavior is better, and he can communicate with gestures or sounds for the first time. Thanks to the therapies he receives, his knee’s range of motion and stability has improved greatly.
José goes by Josesito and brings a lot of joy to the center and staff.
His birthday is February 4!
