Carlos Salgado

Carlos Salgado is 6 years old and yes, he does share his name with another kiddo from our center!

Carlos has been diagnosed with cortical atrophy. He has a very limited ability to participate in life. Though his eyes technically work, he is effectively blind due to impaired connections between his eyes and brain. He has low muscle tone, making it difficult for him to hold his head up, roll over, or participate in normal activities.

Since coming to the center, Carlos has slowly demonstrated increase muscle tone and strength!

His birthday is March 7!
